(01 / 08) IP & risk suite / Patent research

# IP Scape.

From a research question to a patent landscape.

I designed IP Scape, an internal tool for computationally intensive
patent research. Accurate setup mattered because analysis took time
and resources. The workflow connects research inputs, run status and
an explorable cluster map, so analysts can move from a broad question
to the patents behind it.

## Organize research into projects

Projects collect the searches, similarity analyses and clusters for a company, market or technology.

## Track analysis runs

Analysis can take time and computing resources. Each run shows who started it and whether it completed or failed.

## Compare views of the map

Color the same patent map by market, owner or filing date.
